Khronos is an all-male youth dance company founded in 2009 by Julia Dark at The Brit School. The company
provides a creative and performance platform for young males in a safe and encouraging environment.

There is an enthusiastic and highly competitive rapport between company members, always encouraging and
motivating each to other to learn new skills and share creative ideas as well as developing new and innovative
movement. The boys come from a range of dance backgrounds and experiences, some with no prior formal
dance training at all.

The company performs choreography embedded in contemporary technique and physical theatre with a clear
focus on rhythm and dynamics. There is also a fusion with more urban styles drawing on the boy’s vast range
of dance experiences.

The company strives to create a new and exciting dance vocabulary that is powerful, athletic and challenging.

The company has an extensive performance CV having performed at Move it! Dance proms at The Royal Albert Hall
ReFresh and Fresh @ The Place, Greenwich Dance Agency, Queen Elizabeth Halls at the Southbank Centre

Every Khronos graduate is now studying or working in a career of their choice. Many of the company’s graduates
have gone on to study at prestigious Dance Conservatoire’s such as London Contemporary Dance School, Rambert
Urdang to name a few.

Some now have successful performing careers and run their own creative and corporate companies.
